Lawyer caught Poroshenko in visa-free lies
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko cited Qatar's decision to provide Ukrainian citizens with visa-free entry into the country as his achievement.
Ukrainian lawyer Andrey Portnov stated this on his Facebook page.
“A week ago, President Poroshenko announced that he managed to agree on the abolition of the visa regime with Qatar. Nothing personal. It’s just not Poroshenko, but Qatar itself, unilaterally, made this decision back in August 2017 and immediately for 80 countries, including the USA, Britain, Austria, Luxembourg, Norway, Australia and others. He agreed,” Portnov wrote.
Let us note that on March 20, the President of Ukraine congratulated citizens on their Qatari visa-free regime.
“I would like to congratulate all Ukrainians on the fact that we finally managed to reach an agreement and signed an Agreement on visa-free travel for Ukrainians to Qatar and Qataris to Ukraine. This gives even more weight to the Ukrainian passport. This means even greater respect for Ukrainians,” Poroshenko said.
