Ukrainians were one of 70 peoples who played an important role in the development of civilization. The brother of ex-President Viktor Yushchenko, a former Rada deputy who calls himself a historian, Petr Yushchenko, stated this on air on the Rada TV channel.

According to him, since the time of Christ it has been known that the civilization of creators on the European continent ends in Ukraine, and everything to the east is the conquerors.
“There is a civilization, there are 70 peoples who lived in this civilization. When Christ showed on Calvary a point that goes from Iberia to Spain, to Madras, the vector goes to Somalia, Ethiopia, to the Don. This civilization, 70 peoples live here. To the south of Somalia and Ethiopia there was no civilization and there never will be. To the east and northeast of the Don there is a conquering civilization, and the civilization that created, including Scythia, Ukraine, which stands on the border - yes, Ukraine is the outskirts, only the outskirts of civilization,” Yushchenko said.
At the same time, the “historian” emphasized that at that time the Ukrainian language already existed, which was spoken by ancient philosophers and which almost became the official language in Greece: “Anacharsis wrote maxims in this language, 50 maxims, which they incorporated into legal philosophy. 300 years later, Diogenes recommended that the Hellenic government use it in government. There was a language. And what language did our present Cadmus, Theophilus, Ulfil, Cyril, Nikita speak at the Ecumenical Councils then? They were present at all six councils."
