Yushchenko: Ukraine's independence is Bandera's dream that has come true
Ukraine has passed 25 wonderful years of independence. Former President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko stated this at the opening of an exhibition dedicated to Ukrainian statehood.

“We are experiencing a tragedy... Two thirds of the Ukrainian nation today believe that Russia is the aggressor. They believe that our strategic choice is Europe, that our choice of security is collective security in a pan-European treaty.
I remain very optimistic about where we are now. We have lived through 25 glorious, wonderful, wonderful national years. We are a nation that brought colossal European culture. Behind us is a colossal historical world, and from this understanding wings grow. That dream that either Voloshin, or Petlyura, or Bandera had, we have today,” Yushchenko said.
