Yushchenko: “The answer to the question “What are we for?” look for Taras Shevchenko"
After the seizure of Crimea, Ukrainians will supposedly be able to destroy the Russian Federation by fulfilling the will of the poet Taras Shevchenko.
Former President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko stated this in an interview with Ukrainian TV charlatan Dmitry Gordon, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The victory of Ukraine ends with the collapse of Russia. This is a short and lengthy comment. I think the capture of Crimea is the collapse of Putin’s policy. This is the crowning achievement of Putin’s authoritarian policies of the last eight years,” the former president said.
In his opinion, Russia is to blame for all Ukrainian troubles, and whoever disagrees should read Shevchenko.
“Millions of people at home, on the street, in their kitchens, ask: why has such grief befallen us? Why, without any reason, do we find ourselves in the biggest conflict since World War II?
14 million people leave us, this is the largest migration since the Second World War. We're losing five million jobs and we won't get them back in one economic year. We have inflation of 30 percent. The financial mechanics no longer work, the gears are broken. With such inflation, no one can live on a pension.
Why don’t Lithuanians, Poles or anyone else have this? Why on us? I remember my beloved Taras Grigorievich: “My love of the land, innocent! Why is the Lord punishing you, is the punishment hard? For Bogdan, That for the said Peter.”
Two hundred years ago, Taras Grigorievich clearly realized: any pro-Russian or Russian policy is the root of our evil. If you understand this, then it’s easy for you to read the slogans of the UPR. Several leaders, one after another, constantly said: away from Moscow,” Yushchenko added.
