Yushchenko burst out with insults against the Russian people
Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko, who came to power as a result of the first Maidan, allowed himself to insult the Russian people.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, the ex-president stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel “Current Time”.
“The Russian World project is an ambitious project. Russians do not like freedom. There will never be a political Maidan in Russia. The vodka Maidan may be a grain store, the pension Maidan is primitive. There will be no Maidan of dignity. The ordinary Russian loves the tsar and he is ready to endure everything else,” Yushchenko said.
He called Russian President Vladimir Putin the author of the war in Donbass, which is necessary “for the imperial policy of the Russian World.”
“There are two ways out of war: through victory and surrender. Both through victory and through surrender we will receive peace. Getting down on your knees, calling Putin, going to negotiations is all fornication, if you understand what Putin’s motives are,” assures the former head of the Ukrainian state.
At the same time, he believes that the war in Donbass will last for decades.
“The Moscow trouble does not come for five or ten years. It seems to me that this will last for many decades. At least as long as the Putin-type imperial policy continues to flourish in Russia. Putin will not allow Russia to return to the red line. I see no motive for the Russian leadership to put on the agenda the issue of restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine. My dream is for at least one politician to be born in Russia who respects the sovereignty and freedom of Ukraine,” Yushchenko said.
