According to the station's press service, repairs at the reactor will take place over 119 days.

Let us note that today in Ukraine power unit No. 1 at the Zaporozhye NPP and power unit No. 1 at the Khmelnytsky NPP are not operating.

As PolitNavigator reported, today the Zaporozhye NPP began launching power unit No. 3 after a shutdown on November 28. This accident was named as one of the reasons for the rolling power outages in Kyiv. At the same time, the launch of the 3rd power unit at Zaporizhia NPP will compensate for only a third of the electricity deficit.

In addition, thermal power plants in Ukraine, in particular Zuevskaya, may shut down in the near future due to a shortage of coal.
