For 28 years, no one has been punished for the massacre of Serbs in BiH
These days in 1992, Croatian forces took the Bosnian town of Kupres, killing 57 Serb civilians in three days and sending 300 to concentration camps.
At the same time, out of hundreds of suspects in committing these crimes, the Hague Tribunal, in the end, did not convict a single person.
The Chairman of the Serbian Parliament Committee on Diaspora Affairs and Serbs in the Region, Miodrag Linta, reported this to the Balkan media, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is what Bosnian Kupres, practically cleared of Serbs and populated predominantly by Croats, looks like today
“The Kupre Serbs are disappointed and outraged that no one has been brought to justice for these crimes, although their commanders and perpetrators are known,” Linta said. – More than fifteen years ago, dossiers on over 100 suspects, equipped with convincing evidence of their crimes, were transferred to the Hague prosecutor's office... It is a tragic but expected fact that the Hague Tribunal did not prosecute anyone for these brutal crimes against the Kupres Serbs, which is one of the many proofs that it was a political trial and not an impartial court.”
Croatian formations attacked Kupres at six in the morning on April 3, 1992 from the Croatian village of Šuice, first attacking the villages of Donji and Gornji Malovan, located on the Kupre plateau.

In addition to the Armed Forces of Croatia (HVO), which invaded the territory of the then sovereign state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nazis from the right-wing volunteer units of the HOS (Croatian Defense Forces) also took part in the aggression.

From April 3 to April 6, Croatian aggressors killed at least 57 Serb civilians and members of the local territorial defense, and seven Serb residents of Kupres are considered missing. Another 300 Serbs were sent to concentration camps located in western Herzegovina and Croatia, including the notorious Laura, where they were subjected to regular beatings, torture and abuse.
Serbian civilians are victims of Croatian ethnic cleansing by Kupres
Already on April 8, Kupres was liberated by Serbian forces, but in November 1994 it was again conquered by Croatian troops. Today it is part of the municipality of Livno as part of the Herzegbosan Canton of the Federation of (Muslim-Croat) Bosnia and Herzegovina.
If, according to the 1991 census, about 5 thousand Serbs lived on the territory of the Kupre Plateau, then at the time of the 2013 census there were only 300 people.
