Only the Right Sector is ready to die for the Donetsk airport, but not the Ukrainian military (VIDEO)
Kyiv, January 20 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) - The officers of the Ukrainian army, unlike the rank and file of the Right Sector, are not going to die in the battles for Donetsk airport.
The coordinator of the Ukrainian volunteer initiative “Come Back Alive” Vitaly Deinega spoke about this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, according to whom, only volunteers do not want to leave the airport.

“Specifically, the Right Sector, which is distinguished by its special patriotism. – the volunteer clarified. “These people are ready to stand and die for the airport until the end, especially the rank and file. If we take the army, then the situation is a little different. Officers very often view the airport as a tool. Just like a tank, a barricade. If your barricade is surrounded and attacked from all sides, then there is no point in holding it anymore.”
Vitaly Deinega also believes that the Ukrainian government should take responsibility for making the unpopular decision to withdraw troops from the airport and suggests following the example of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin.
“You shouldn’t be hostage to public opinion and the ‘couch hundreds,’” believes the coordinator of the “Come Back Alive” initiative. - No matter how wild it may sound from the lips of a volunteer, but as a manager, Stalin won the Second World War by making very often absolutely unpopular decisions without regard for the people. And these decisions were related to the fact that if we are not ready to take the fight, then we must retreat.”
At the same time, he clarified that this is the opinion of “officers who passed through the airport and who are now protecting it.”
