His colleagues from the Opposition Bloc may be behind the attack on Novinsky
The Ukrainian government, by announcing repressions against the “former”, is trying to divert the attention of radicals from the real problems of the state.

The director of the Ukrainian Institute of Analysis and Policy Management, Ruslan Bortnik, stated this at a press conference in Kiev, commenting on the information that has appeared about the request being prepared by the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada to deprive deputy of the “Opposition Bloc” Vadim Novinsky of parliamentary immunity.
“The authorities are trying to continue to distract the attention of the radical public from real problems - offshore companies, the economy and everything else: by letting students talk about Novinsky, but not about their scholarships. But this case is a little more serious than the cases against all former ones, because Novinsky continues to exert quite serious political, informational, and financial influence. This is one of those people who are capable of becoming real opponents of the authorities, and to some extent, on a humanitarian level, he is,” said the political scientist.
“In addition, I do not rule out that the case against Novinsky was intensified from within the Opposition Bloc, because there are several influence groups there, some of which are very loyal to the president. And I do not exclude that it is from there that the legs of this persecution grow. Moreover, the reason is absolutely inadequate,” added Bortnik.
Let us note that Vadim Novinsky is associated with the organization of a large-scale religious procession of the UOC, which recently took place in Kyiv.
