Almost $5 million was invested in Crimea in four months, – Verba

The Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Svetlana Verba, announced this on Thursday at a press conference in Simferopol.
According to her information, Turkey, Belarus, France, Uzbekistan, Cyprus and the Virgin Islands invest the most in the republic’s economy. At the same time, the main flow of investment is directed to the tourism sector of Crimea and real estate.
“As in previous years, investors are interested in investing in the development of alternative energy. We will support and hope that this promising direction for the development of alternative energy will not go out of sight and will be supported,” noted Svetlana Verba.
The minister also emphasized that new solar power plants will appear in the Bakhchisarai and Belogorsk regions of the republic this year.
Let us remind you that in 2013, according to the Ministry of Economy of Crimea, direct investments from foreign investors received $176,5 million.
