The 73-year-old father of the new governor was once involved in the construction of the Bukovel resort, and now works as the technical director of Neftekhimik Prykarpattya. Both of these objects are controlled by Kolomoisky.
It is interesting that the father of the previous governor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Andriy Trotsenko, also works at Kolomoisky’s Ukrnafta, and before that he was the technical director at Neftekhimik Prykarpattya.
