A defense company employee was fined for a long tongue in Crimea
An employee of one of the defense enterprises in Feodosia passed on secret data to his subordinate, which could have provoked its leak.
This was reported by the FSB press service. However, the intelligence service emphasized that damage to the state was avoided, and therefore the overly sociable citizen got off with a fine, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It was established that in September 2018, an employee of one of the Feodosia enterprises, as part of the implementation of a state defense order for the construction of small missile ships, transferred materials constituting a state secret to his subordinate, who did not have access to such information. The investigative department of the FSB initiated and investigated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 283 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Taking into account the fact that the defendant admitted his guilt in full, no actual damage was caused to the interests of the state, and also due to the presence of mitigating circumstances, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea sentenced him to a fine of 80 thousand rubles, the FSB said in a statement.
