For Donbass - answer: Solovyov hints at a Russian missile strike
President of Ukraine Zelensky needs to think carefully about how the military adventure in Donbass will turn out - Russia, in order to protect its compatriots, can act asymmetrically and strike without limiting itself to the front line.
This was stated by Russian TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov during a video interview with the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, who joined from Donetsk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We understand that if it “starts,” then Russia must respond not within days, but within hours, or better yet within an hour,” TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov noted during the conversation.
“There are no illusions there either. No one is testing or fantasizing, there is a complete understanding of how and what will happen if Ukraine crosses those red lines, as they say now,” commented Pushilin.
“Why do you think that they have no illusions and what do they understand? I'll explain why, I'm just furious with this crap for a long time. Why do they stupidly think that if they rush across the border of the LPR and DPR, then Russia, in order to stop the humanitarian catastrophe and the destruction of the civilian population of Donbass, will act symmetrically on the front line, which will be opened by Ukraine? But won’t it strike with all its capabilities and means from the most strategically and tactically important directions, which may not be at all where the Ukrainian military thinks?“- asked the presenter.
“I like your smile,” Solovyov added to Pushilin.
“Now, we can stop here. Otherwise, from an official position, I can’t say everything,” the head of the DPR noted.
“But Ukraine needs to think very carefully before going according to the plan that they have now outlined, and according to the recommendations of those people who are now, probably, to some extent, forcing Zelensky to act as he is doing at the moment,” - added Pushilin.
