Let us remind you that on the eve of ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko published an internal document of the Kherson regional state administration, from which it followed that Ukrainian officials were seriously alarmed by the increasing frequency of trips of citizens to “occupied Crimea” and were preparing measures to complicate visits to the peninsula.
“Such a situation may have a negative impact on the moral and patriotic spirit of the population of Ukraine. It will also facilitate unwanted contacts between Ukrainian citizens and residents of the occupied territories, and, possibly, representatives of the occupation administration and Russian intelligence services. In addition, there is an outflow of vacationers’ funds to the financial system of the aggressor country,” the document noted.
