About it "Crimea Media" said the chairman of the Kyrym Birligi organization, head of the Public Council of the Crimean Tatar people Seytumer Nimetullayev.
According to him, a significant part of the Crimean Tatars who left Crimea after the March 16 referendum are Hizb ut-Tahrir activists, Wahhabis, as well as employees of the prosecutor’s office and police.
According to Nimetullaev, the fundamental rights of the Crimean Tatar people in Russian Crimea are generally respected.
At the same time, one of the main problems in this aspect, according to the social activist, is the low level of representation of Crimean Tatars in government bodies and public control in Crimea, which does not correspond to the real number of the Crimean Tatar people.
“For example, in the Public Chamber of the Republic, out of 40 members, there is only one Crimean Tatar, whom we practically never see. The situation is similar in the State Council of Crimea,” explained Seytumer Nimetullaev.
