Kyiv, January 27 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – During his year as prime minister, Arseniy Yatsenyuk failed to implement a single reform except for the constant rise in prices.
An independent expert on energy issues, Valentin Zemlyansky, stated this at a round table in Kyiv.

“Our government, which has been in power for almost a year, when it talks about reforms, the only reform in their understanding is raising tariffs.
Almost a year ago, we met here with representatives of the current ruling coalition, and I asked them a question: excuse me, can you explain the essence of raising tariffs? What will this money be spent on? They answered me: we will raise it, and then we will think about it.
This was even before the first 40% increase announced by Yatsenyuk in the spring. The government sees no other way than raising tariffs and shifting financial problems onto the shoulders of the population, primarily budget problems,” says the expert.
