“There were cases when guys with their own interests ended up in the ranks of the militia. With sufficient evidence, two types of punishment: execution or 30-40 days of arrest in harsh conditions. If you come across a man who has stolen ten boards somewhere in the country, he digs up a little of the trench. Many of them even remained in the militia. But if the matter was more serious, for example, cars were taken away, say, or something else, then everything is tough. This concerns our unit - the Semenovsky battalion. There was such a case... Two commanders were shot when they were still in Slavyansk,” the resonant case of “Kedr” recalled.
