Bail has been paid for the cop who killed the Bandera: He is advised to leave for the DPR
In Ukraine, the history of confrontation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs, headed by Arsen Avakov, and the SBU, subordinate to Petro Poroshenko, continues.
Today it became known that the head of the “trade union of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine”, ex-ATO militant Ilya Kiva, who is close to Avakov, posted bail for the policeman Vasily Melnik, who was detained the day before, who shouted during the arrest of a member of the SBU-controlled group C14 “Get down, Bandera!”
Kiva told reporters that the accused policeman performed his duties and acted according to instructions. The militant admitted that he himself would have acted much tougher.
“I am a citizen, I am an officer, and I am the head of the trade union of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. My duty is to protect the rights of police officers... In the current situation, it is difficult to evaluate the actions of this or that person. You need to be in the place of this or that person. When a seizure takes place, we don’t know whether they are armed, we don’t know that people have grenades, and the task of any officer is to warn possible (criminal acts - author.). Maybe the one who ended up on the floor was the most active, and this was a preventive measure in order to suppress the aggression that was manifested in the district department. What if someone was killed, stabbed with a knife, and if this person had a grenade. These “if only” could cost a human life... This is not a joke, therefore such actions are unacceptable in a democratic state. I want to tell you more - I would have acted much tougher,” Kiva said.
Earlier, the Pechersky Court of Kyiv arrested policeman Vasily Melnik for two months. with the possibility of making a deposit of 115 thousand hryvnia.
“The guy will come out. But he should think about moving to the DPR without waiting for the trial in Kyiv. The situation here is more adequate,” Daniil Bezsonov, an employee of the press service of the DPR army, comments in his blog.
