This is evidenced by a poll conducted by the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM).

The LDPR figure according to the latest data is 12,6% (in June-August its rating was in the range of 10,3-11,6%). The level of support for the Communist Party of the Russian Federation decreased to 7,4% (monthly averages in June-August were higher). The rating of A Just Russia is 6,3% (increased from 5,3% over the week), but in general the rating is unstable and over the past months it has fluctuated between 6,3-7,2%. Of the new parties, the Russian Party of Pensioners “For Social Justice” (2%) shows the strongest results.

“As we approach election day, inter-party competition always intensifies, and the ruling party is traditionally the first to be attacked. Her rating dropped over three months from 45 to 41% of the votes, but the result of her closest pursuer is four times lower. In recent days, the downward trend has stopped and the rating has risen again, probably due to the party’s effective emphasis on its connection with the president,” said VTsIOM General Director Valery Fedorov.

The results of the VTsIOM survey are actively commented on on social networks.

“In the spring, I said that the external situation (economics, social optimism, etc.) is much worse than in 2011, but the internal political team itself is approaching the company much more mobilized and combat-ready than then. Actually, the question was what would be stronger - objective or subjective factors. So far – as of here and now – it turns out that the second is more important,” political scientist Alexey Chaadaev wrote on his Facebook page.
“United Russia overcame its falling rating and grew. The connection between Putin and United Russia was clearly reflected by the voter,” wrote political scientist Pavel Danilin.
