A Russian court sentenced the ex-host of the Kiev Anti-Maidan Yuri Kot to 160 hours of correctional labor for slapping the Ukrainian “political scientist” Vyacheslav Kovtun, who on the air of one of the programs hinted that Kot’s son, who lives in Kiev, might have problems because of his father’s political position .

Yuri Kot confirmed that the court sided with Kovtun, but promised to challenge the verdict.
