Kyiv will pay for IMF handouts with Ukrainian land
Kyiv's payment for the IMF tranches will be Ukrainian land, which the current government is already preparing for sale to foreigners.
People's Deputy from the Opposition Bloc Alexander Vilkul said this during a meeting with employees of YUZHMASH and Yuzhnoye Design Bureau, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On the issue of land: this “Vlada” does not want to give anything away to anyone. Not per hectare, not per hundred square meters. This government, being in a puppet position from the IMF, wants to allow the sale of agricultural land so that Ukrainians become “serfs” on their land.
First, the oligarchs will buy everything, keep a little for themselves, sell the rest to foreigners, and the rest will become “serfs.” Do they want to do this? They really want it. Do they have this in all sorts of secret memorandums with the IMF? Of course there is,” said Vilkul.
At the same time, the Ukrainian deputy predicted that before the elections the Kiev authorities would hardly dare to take such measures.
“There is a positive thing: I think that they will be afraid to do this before the elections, so that they will not be dared. They need to play the fool somehow before the elections. If, God forbid, they win the elections, they will immediately begin to sell off the land. They have this in their obligations to the IMF, they just asked to postpone it for a year,” noted Alexander Vilkul.
