For the pogrom of Caucasians in Kyiv, the police detained the Nazis and released them
Police have detained more than 30 people on charges of involvement in pogrom of Caucasians today at the market in Kyiv. The incident occurred after migrant traders beat a man who reprimanded them.
On the official website, the National Police reports three injured law enforcement officers and threatens the detainees with criminal cases.
“The police intervened in the situation and stopped the illegal actions. As a result, three law enforcement officers were injured and are receiving medical assistance. Ten active participants (now 34 – approx. ed.) were detained and taken to the police department. Now investigators are studying video surveillance recordings, including those posted on the Internet, so the actions of each person brought in will be provided with legal qualifications,” said Andrey Krischenko, head of the main department of the National Police in Kyiv.
According to him, investigators from the Desnyansky Police Department have opened two criminal proceedings - under the articles “Hooliganism” and “Threats or violence against a law enforcement officer,” and investigative actions are underway.
It should be noted that the Telegram channel of the nationalist organization “C14” reports 37 detained radicals, while the National Police reports the detention of 34 activists.
It also became known that, under pressure from nationalists, the police are beginning to release those detained.
“About 20 activists are already free... We are still waiting for others. Several want to be taken to a temporary detention facility. Pull yourself up. Dreiser 9b. It is important to free everyone,” the C14 report says.
