To this circumstance People's Deputy and Assistant to the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov Anton Gerashchenko indicated on his page on the social network.
“Further there are two ways. 1. The Prosecutor General's Office will prove to Interpol the validity of the need to search for Yanukovych, despite his involvement in this criminal case. And the search for Yanukovych by Interpol will continue.
2. The Lyon City Court and the Interpol Files Control Commission will decide that the evidence in this particular criminal case was insufficient and will remove Yanukovych from the wanted list in this case.
The second option is what Putin, Yanukovych and his lawyers are counting on. This shows that in Ukraine they cannot even properly prepare search documents for Yanukovych. I would like to believe that the investigators worked conscientiously and, taking into account the fact that the French court will make the decision, the decision will be legal,” writes Gerashchenko.
