They are campaigning for Poroshenko with fictitious victories at the front
In order to increase the rating of the still-current President Petro Poroshenko, the Ukrainian media published a number of fakes about the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ seizure of territories in the “gray zone.”
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov announced this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigatra correspondent reports.
He noted that the current president of Ukraine, rapidly losing the support of the electorate, as evidenced by the result of the first round of voting, has intensified his efforts to increase his own rating.
“For these purposes, the headquarters of the Joint Forces Operation (OOS) has increased the frequency of information leaks about the alleged successes of the UFU in occupying strategically important objects in the “gray zones.” Moreover, the so-called occupation of objects is carried out as planned, once a week and from North to South. At first there was a fake about the Ukrainian Armed Forces entering Gorlovka, then Donetsk, and new “successes” of Ukrainian militants in the Mariupol direction can be predicted,” suggested Daniil Bezsonov.
He also added that this disinformation is purposefully published in the Ukrainian media to create a positive and combat-ready image of the UFU among the public against the backdrop of the collapse of the Ukrainian army, as is happening in reality.
“The Ukrainian military command understands that apart from carrying out “fake” information about the glorification and so-called exploits of its herd, it cannot boast of anything else,” the representative of the defense department summed up.
