Over five years, the SBU found only 201 foreigners on the side of the LPR and DPR
Since the beginning of hostilities in Donbass, the SBU has announced suspicions against 201 foreigners who fought on the side of the LPR and DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported in the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine.
“In the period from February 2014 to the present, investigators from the SBU of Ukraine reported suspicion to 201 foreign citizens,” the SBU informed.
The intelligence service clarified that 178 suspects were citizens of the Russian Federation and another 23 people were citizens of other countries.
Thus, the SBU actually refuted the statements of official Kyiv about some tens of thousands of Russian soldiers stationed in the Donbass.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that according to SBU estimates, within the framework of the “They are waiting for you at home” program in 2019, 367 people voluntarily refused to participate in the activities of the military formations of the LPR and DPR.
