For the collapse of the Ukrainian army, Lebedev was offered to erect a monument

“The name of this man is associated in the city only with barbaric development,” Oleg Nikolaev, chairman of the Sevastopol organization “Business Russia” and co-owner of the Crimean Island Group of Companies, told the publication. – Very little is known about his business. I know much more about his activities as Minister of Defense of Ukraine.”
At the same time, the director of the Institute of CIS Countries, Konstantin Zatulin, told the newspaper that after his appointment to the RSPP, Pavel Lebedev acquired only a “symbolic role,” and before his appointment as Minister of Defense in December 2012, “he was a typical businessman, without unnecessary ideologies.”
“That is why Viktor Yanukovych appointed him to the role of the Ukrainian Serdyukov insofar as it concerns the development of money for the rearmament of the army,” Zatulin believes. “And, in fact, Russian patriots should erect a monument to Pavel Lebedev for his work in the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.”
“At the same time, Mr. Zatulin believes that the “demonization” of Pavel Lebedev is taking place in the media controlled by the speaker of the legislative assembly of Sevastopol Alexei Chaly and “is exclusively of a political nature,” Kommersant cackles. “They call him a “man from the past,” that is, a patriot of Ukraine, and criticize him for “spoiling the historical appearance of the city with buildings.” In fact, according to Konstantin Zatulin, the ex-minister’s relatives live in the Krasnodar Territory, and he built Sevastopol according to “the rules generally accepted in the Ukrainian years.”
