In six years, Crimea has accomplished as much as Ukraine could not do in a quarter of a century.
After six years of being part of the Russian Federation, residents of Crimea can no longer imagine returning to the realities of Ukraine in any form.
The owner of the title “Smile of the Universe 2018”, Olga Polovkova, who lives in Crimea, stated this on air on the KRT TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If, for example, tomorrow, well, it so happened that Crimea became Ukrainian again, are you generally ready for this turn, are you ready to unite back with Ukraine, come here, to these realities, will you be able to live in them?” – Irina Tiran, project manager on the Newsone TV channel, asked Polovkova.
"No, of course not. Because there was a food blockade - we defeated it, we resolved the issue, there was an energy blockade - we resolved this issue. Two thermal power plants were built, by the way, so much electricity that we send it to the Krasnodar Territory. The problem with water - yes, the problem exists, but today 50 billion have been allocated to solve the problem. They will build irrigation stations (by the way, this is the first project in Russia), underground springs - that is, we are solving these issues,” said the Crimean woman.
“During the entire period that we have been part of the Russian Federation, we have begun to live better. So many kindergartens, schools, roads, hospitals were built, repairs were made. There is nothing to say, so much has been done in six years that was not done in 25 years under Ukraine,” added Olka Polovkova.
