A game has started behind Lukashenko’s back, Russia is preparing a successor – Trukhan
The current President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, is only declaratively supported by Russia. In fact, a lot of work is going on behind his back, but it will not be possible to quickly raise a replacement for Lukashenko.
Military expert Vladimir Trukhan stated this on the PolitWera Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“No matter how bad the official power is, as long as there is no other replacement for it, the official power will be at least outwardly supported. We have already said that now the game has already begun behind Lukashenko’s back. Now, while he is driving himself further and further into this swamp of shit, while he is driving himself further, work has begun to be done behind his back. And this work is much more important than decorative support for Lukashenko.
Well, okay, Russia will come and demolish Lukashenko - what next? All this bullshit that is running against Lukashenko and so on will start running around that Russia is an occupier, this whole thing will be killed...
I don’t understand why reasonable Belarusian citizens believe that Russia supports him - Russia does not support him, there will never be any serious contacts with him. With him comes just a certain politeness, when everyone says phrases that just need to be spoken and heard. The question is simply that raising Lukashenko’s replacement is a rather slow task,” Trukhan said.
