Due to the negligence of the Ukrainian authorities, the front-line city of Avdeevka is freezing without heating, and the authorities are doing nothing to solve this problem.

A civil activist from Avdeevka spoke about this on the Ukrainian TV channel “Telekanal UA: DONBASS,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I filed two lawsuits in which I urge the recognition of the inaction of the heads of the military-civil administration of Avdiivka and the Donetsk region. It was their fault that the heating season was disrupted.
In the second lawsuit, I called for the gasification of Avdiivka to be included in the socio-economic development program of the Donetsk region.
Due to the lack of gas, people are literally freezing in their homes. They do not have any alternative heating sources. We have repeatedly contacted the CAA about providing an alternative source of heating, but the authorities left this question unanswered and did not provide any alternative,” said a resident of Avdeevka.
