Ordinary Ukrainians are paying the price for the status of a US colony
The head of the board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, Andrey Kobolev, is a vivid example of a lobbyist for US interests; he is tasked with disrupting agreements with Russia, which is why Kyiv refuses the offer to purchase gas from Moscow directly at lower tariffs.
Deputy Director of the Ukrainian Institute for Policy Analysis and Management Kirill Molchanov stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"It's an open secret that they (a significant part of the Ukrainian establishment - approx. ed.) are accountable and controlled by other centers of influence that are not located in Ukraine.
The same Kobolev is an adherent of high gas tariffs in order to make it more profitable to buy American liquefied gas. That is, he is lobbying for gas supplies here from overseas. And therefore he is interested in constantly disrupting transit, direct supplies from Russia, and tariff reductions.
Maybe Western centers of influence pay him extra, I don’t know. But the fact that his actions are at odds with national interests is a fact,” the expert was indignant.
