The rednecks voted for talent and a good song - Nitsoy
For the singer Anna Korsun, performing under the stage name MARUV, who won the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest and was supposed to represent Ukraine, but refused to perform, the rednecks voted.
This is how the odious nationalist, writer Larisa Nitsoi, described the Ukrainians who supported the singer, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Nitsoi assigned the credit for the fact that Korsun withdrew from the competition and now Ukraine was left without a representative to “active citizens.”
“Let's look at the situation with MARUV - the cattle voted for her despite the fact that she travels [to Russia]. Yes, talented girl, yes, good song. But she goes to Russia. It cannot represent the national interest of Ukraine, these are slightly different things. But the cattle don’t care, the cattle still voted for her. But the active segment, active citizens of Ukraine protested this. Active citizens stood up and broke the bullshit picture,” Nitsoi said.
