After extinguishing a fire in Greek Evia in three days, Serbian firefighters went to the Peloponnese
Over the course of three days, firefighters and rescuers and members of the helicopter unit of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with their Greek colleagues, extinguished all the fires on the Greek island of Evia.

Employees of the Emergency Sector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia from Niš, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Sremska Mitrovica, Zrenjanin, Kikinda, Jagodina, Krusevac and Kraljevo were busy fighting fires in the northern part of the island for three days in a row, both during the day and at night. Evia.
In addition, the crews of the helicopter group of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs dropped 44 tons of water in the Elinik and Atalanta areas during 48 raids. The day before, firefighters and rescuers continued work to contain a fire in the village of Avgaria in northern Evia.
As a result of three days of work, all fires on Evia were extinguished. Serbian firefighters were actively assisted in their work by their Greek colleagues. At the same time, ordinary Greeks fell asleep Serbian firefighters with gratitude, both in social networks and in reality.
Today, Serbian fire rescuers and helicopter pilots went to the Peloponnese, where the fire has been raging for several days.
