This was announced by the speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Maryana Betsa, the department’s press center reports.
According to Betsa, over the course of three years, the number of Ukrainian citizens detained abroad on drug trafficking charges has noticeably increased.
“According to available information, there is reason to believe that there are well-established schemes for the export of Ukrainian citizens to Russia through the mediation of a number of structures that pose as recruitment agencies for work both in Ukraine and in the CIS countries,” said a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
She emphasized that for this purpose, relevant announcements are placed in crowded places, including subways, train stations, and print media.
She also stated that Russia is an “aggressor state” and it is “dangerous” to be there.
