According to the people's deputy, the possibility of opening a Ukrainian office was discussed during a meeting with representatives of the Anti-Defamation League in New York.
“The Anti-Defamation League is ready to work in Ukraine, ready to carry out monitoring activities. Activists of the organization also proposed to organize and conduct appropriate training for Ukrainian police officers,” Feldman said.
“The Anti-Defamation League today works in many countries around the world. The basis of its activities is monitoring, within which manifestations of hostility and hatred are recorded, the activity of right-wing radical groups is monitored, and education - conducting various seminars and trainings for law enforcement agencies, social activists, teachers and university professors. At these trainings they explain what “hate speech”, “hate incident”, “hate crime” is, what their social danger is, how to investigate such crimes, what place it can have in preventing such crimes and in working with victims. cooperation with non-governmental organizations,” the people’s deputy added.
