The Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive bonuses for yesterday's shelling of Donetsk
The sharp escalation of the situation in Donetsk is at least associated with two key factors: Ukraine’s recent rotation of its units and the Kyiv authorities’ attempt to distract everyone from the Saakashist protests.

He noted that over the past 51 hours, XNUMX ceasefire violations were recorded by Ukraine.
“I would like to say that 21 settlements of the republic were subjected to massive shelling from various types of ammunition, including PSZO BM-22 GRAD missiles: Kievsky district of Donetsk, in particular, several houses were damaged on Kievsky Avenue, Partizansky Avenue, Arestova Street and other streets in this area, the so-called “Vetka”, “Mayak”. There was also a direct hit at the stop near the 18th hospital,” commented the head of the DPR press service.
He also pointed out the reasons that caused the sharp escalation of the situation in Donbass.
“First of all, a little over a week ago there were rotations, the Ukrainian brigades were replaced, now instead of them there are new nationalist units. We all know that, firstly, they want to show everyone that they are fighting. In addition, they have certain bonuses for combat, and for them combat does not mean that you are in the ATO zone in the trenches of the front line, but directly participated in the performance of combat missions. For them, that is shelling. If, say, so many shells are fired somewhere, then they will have a good increase in their salary, and no one cares about the fact that people are dying here,” said the DPR representative.
In addition, it was said that the shelling of Donetsk could have been influenced by events in Kyiv.
“We all know that both Ukrainian soldiers and nationalists are dissatisfied with the Ukrainian government. There is a risk that from the ATO zone they can go to Kyiv to overthrow the power of Poroshenko and other officials. Naturally, the Kyiv authorities will do everything to prevent this. It is quite possible that these escalations are being made so that the conflict escalates, some kind of war begins, in order to distract the nationalists, and indeed the entire people, from the events in Kyiv,” Bezsonov noted.
He also added that yesterday in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, near the operating school No. 110, three children were injured when they found an unexploded Ukrainian ammunition. One of the children died, and two with shrapnel wounds to their legs are being treated at the Donetsk Traumatology Center.
