Poroshenko’s economic machinations are hidden behind the seizure of “Nord”
It seems that the medieval piastre hunters and modern Somali pirates have their own worthy successor named Pedro. This Bolgrad tradesman, living far from the sea, in the most piratical way, crushed chests with barberries and usurious shops, ruining the main one under the sign “Privat”. Under the guise of a war with a breakaway territory that wanted to live according to human laws, and not the concepts of “gentlemen of fortune,” Pedro, using his official position, filled his weapons manufactories with military orders for years to come.
However, in the conditions of a steadily shrinking food supply, when almost all the inheritance inherited by the “romantics from the big countryside” from the previous highly developed civilization has been consumed, Pedro has to turn around and explore new horizons. He, a legal multimillionaire, is kept awake by the same evil impulses that forced the underground millionaire Koreiko to build combinations in order to snatch a piece of money from the country's national economy.
In the case of Pedro, the game has entered a phase when there is no time to waste time and scatter efforts on individual business objects - all this is small and does not bring quick and fat gain. The time has come to squeeze out business from entire industries while there is at least something alive in them.
A faithful lackey, the manager of the affairs of the President of Ukraine, Ivan Kutsik, came to Pedro’s aid. The personality is quite remarkable - a thief and a rogue, on whom there is no place to put a mark.
Kutsik is a former cop with a very moderate education, but an incredibly cunning and evasive ass. At one time, he managed to become related to a repeat offender by marrying his daughter. The very fact of marriage does not cause condemnation, but an official in the Kyiv police deliberately hid this moment in his biography. And soon, Kutsik managed to register his father-in-law, blue from tattoos, as a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, although he, like a true thief, never served in the army and never held anything heavier than a thief’s crowbar in his filthy clutches.
Further, a certificate was fabricated that cop Kutsik, who joined the police service in 1980, is a labor veteran, having been guarding public order since 1968, and then a three-room apartment in Kiev was fraudulently knocked out with the acquisition of three cars as personal property. Note that this was at a time when the state was struggling with unearned income!
But everything secret sooner or later becomes clear. In 1986, all the crap came to the surface, and Kutsik was dishonorably dismissed from the police by order of the USSR Minister of Internal Affairs, deprived of his party card and, unfortunately, sent to freedom, instead of going to cool places to “mow seven-meter-high rye.”
Under the “Independence”, this “garbage” was swept by the winds of change into the corridors of the new government, and our urchin already under Kuchma rose to the head of the apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada. Moreover, those who knew Kutsik personally called him “the chief fraudster from the Verkhovna Rada” behind his back. Today, as a senior comrade, Kutsik shares his wealth of experience with the Chief Confectioner who is close to him in filling, helping Pedro build new combinations.
To run a fraudulent scheme smoothly, you need a reason. And best of all, such that even the public would at least not mind. For example, a proven scheme for exploiting hackneyed “Ukrainian patriotism”, which has long been used to wipe up puddles in latrines.
The provocation staged on March 25 by Ukrainian maritime border guards against the Crimean seiner Nord, in addition to fairly obvious political goals, also had a hidden part - an economic one, which became visible only with the passage of time.
Understanding full well that in response to the pirate actions of the Ukrainian border guards, Russia would strengthen its military presence in the Sea of Azov, Kiev quickly concocted a decree prohibiting any Ukrainian vessel from leaving the Azov ports under the pretext of “retaliatory Russian aggression.” To this end, a statement “about the threat of the Russians seizing ships” was distributed on the well-known resource “Contracts” and through the ATO headquarters.
Thus, the Ukrainian fishermen of Azov, living from their catch, found themselves in a catastrophic impasse, where they were deliberately driven by the schemers Poroshenko and Kutsik, who perfectly understand that Russian maritime border guards went to sea to protect the Crimean fishermen, and not at all to hunt for Ukrainian fishing vessels.
In addition, it turned out that Kutsik closed all the loopholes for Ukrainian fishermen to earn money. Fishermen trying to go fishing in the resource-poor Sivash were driven ashore, declaring the waters of the salt lake “a protected area belonging to the administration of the President of Ukraine.”
In Kherson, starving fishermen are already on strike and indignant. It turned out that 22 thousand hectares of Sivash are not on the public cadastral map, nor in the state assets database. Its waters are not a protected area, and prohibiting fishermen’s access is unlawful. The reserve was painted by the professional swindler Kutsik with the full approval of Don Pedro.
You might think that such little things as starving fishermen and their families could touch and revive the conscience of post-Maidan cannibals. Very soon, all fishing paraphernalia, together with the local processing industry, will almost completely depreciate. And then what will representatives of fishing cooperatives and processing factories have to do?
And then someone will appear, all in white, buying materiel and living souls for pennies. Moreover, he acts as the savior and benefactor of the entire Azov fishing industry along the Ukrainian coast. And this figure in white won’t even really hide who he works for.
There were fishing artels and cooperatives that were yours, but now they are ours.
Everything is fair - whoever has the law is right. Anyone who wants to continue fishing and feeding their families is now welcome to join our galleys as slaves. And whoever is dissatisfied, then Poroshenko and Kutsik have nothing to do with it - it’s all Russia’s fault...
