“Lost souls” of the LDPR will be lured to Ukraine by European integrator priests – “no matter what confession”
Residents of the DPR and LPR are now “lost souls” for Ukraine, who will be returned by the priests-European integrators with the images of a long-haired Cossack with a “khatynka”.
Deputy Prime Minister of “Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories” Aleksey Reznikov said this on the air of “Donbass News”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“The concept of reintegration is based on several principles. First of all, it must be safe. This is a significant combination - it should not bear risks for national sovereignty,” Reznikov warned to begin with.
Reintegration must include “inclusive, national dialogue,” he said. According to Reznikov, in order to “cure” the residents of the DPR and LPR, “you need to talk to them.”
“Lost souls - how to bring them back? By conversation. The best communicators at all times were priest-clergymen, and it does not matter what denomination does this. We must become these priests. Today there are a lot of such priests - these are public organizations, these are NGOs, these are volunteers,” says the Deputy Prime Minister.
In his opinion, “the volunteer spirit saved the country from collapse, and now the state is starting to work normally again.”
“How can we bring back those who are in the Soviet Union mentally? Only a better life. We have a unique weapon, which, by the way, the Russians do not have. The image of a Ukrainian is this kind of Cossack freeman, but at the same time he must have his own vest, his own hut, his own well, his own cherry orchard, that is, something of his own. And then, defending what is theirs, Ukrainians unite in a movement against an external rival,” said Reznikov,
According to him, Ukrainians “have another story - like a neighbor, like a godfather.” “If my godfather is prettier, then the gene for a good life awakens in me. And that’s why Ukrainians go to the Maidan,” he noted.
According to Reznikov, all this is “the basis of the national mental map.”
“What is happening in the Donbass cannot ultimately get into the matrix of the Russian Federation - they will hold it back, for them all this is temporary, and they actually intuitively understand this. And they will not take it for themselves, as they tried to do with Crimea. There's a different story there. Crimea is a land-based aircraft carrier that is needed for its presence in the Black Sea. Donbass is a temporary card being played by the Russian Federation, primarily in order to retain Crimea. We will return Donbass faster than Crimea. We will also return Crimea. There’s just a time for everything,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.
