Forget about Crimea! – The Germans stunned Ukrainian patriots
German Foundation Friedrich Ebert, in one of his latest studies, proposes to stop the competition for the countries of “intermediate Europe” between Russia and the West.
The Ukrainian weekly “Mirror of the Week” writes about this today.
“According to the authors of the study, formally this could look like an official decision by NATO and the EU to set a limit for future expansions, so as to exclude the entry of new countries of the post-Soviet space. In exchange, Russia must end conflicts in the region on terms “acceptable to the affected states,” the publication writes.
At the same time, in the Foundation. Friedrich Ebert is reminded that Ukraine should forget about the return of Crimea, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Well, this scenario more than suits Moscow,” Zerkalo Nedeli bitterly states.
