Why do Americans need nuclear bombs if there is Ukraine?
The new authorities of Ukraine say that they will terminate the contract with Russia for the completion of the units of the Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant. To reduce dependence on Moscow, they will turn to the Americans for help.
It is profitable for America to complete the construction of power units for nuclear power plants in Ukraine and supply substandard nuclear fuel. America overseas. The new Chernobyl will not touch them. And the radioactive cloud will go either to Europe, which is very good, because there will be no one to pay the debts, or to Russia. Then even better. They will save on nuclear weapons.
Yatsenyuk insists: “By the end of the year we will sign an agreement on the construction of nuclear power units.” And we are not talking about building from scratch. Americans understand the construction of power units according to the Russian model like pigs in oranges. They have already tried to make fuel for nuclear power plants of this type. First, a power plant in the Czech Republic almost exploded, then they created an emergency situation with the unloading of all the fuel in 2012 in Yuzhno-Ukrainsk. And on September 25, there was another emergency situation with “improved” fuel cell cassettes at the Khmelnitsky NPP, as a result of which the power unit was stopped.
Now in Ukraine the media is called upon to listen to officials and everything that is not to the taste of the new government is called the machinations of evil enemy propaganda. But here is the opinion of a specialist, expressed by him back in 2012, associate professor of the NPP Department of the Odessa Polytechnic Zoteev.
“The Americans have square fuel cells as a standard, but our standard is hexagonal. The reason why the Americans are still unable to make a fuel cell for our nuclear power plants is the same as the Chinese, who are unable to repeat either the MIG or even the Kalashnikov assault rifle. It lies in the secret of making the material. Even today, Americans do not have access to the know-how to produce the material for the zirconium tubes into which fuel pellets are loaded. So the cassettes are deformed in the reactor core, which leads to the risk of depressurization, and when you try to pull them out, the heads break. Therefore, we have to unload all the fuel...”
Russian fuel ran out back in September, and Yatsenyuk is playing Russian roulette today. Maybe it will pass. The South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant was operating for several years before the emergency with American cassettes... What if it doesn’t work?
