The politician demanded voters to pay attention to the situation in the session hall, calling it “a mess and absolute irresponsibility,” because in the hall. where, according to the Constitution, there should be 450, there were a maximum of 200 deputies.
“This is further evidence of the correctness of the Radical Party’s thesis about the need to amend the Constitution and reduce the number of Verkhovna Rada deputies to 200 people. If 450 deputies cannot go to the hall and work, then I have a question: why are you, brutes, needed here? And why should people pay you a salary? Why should you receive cosmic pensions and go to criminal clinics?” the radical was indignant.
According to him, if the deputies do not want to work, then they will have to go to the polls, since “a warring country will not tolerate this.”
“Anyone who is not in parliament today is like a deserter from the front. “You left the front to protect the Ukrainians,” Lyashko yelled, pointing his finger at the session hall. – You are against having a cow, a goose, a pig in every house. You are deserters, you abandoned the front, you betrayed the Ukrainians and Ukraine,” the deputy said, calling on the party leaders to expel the truants from the factions.
Supported by colleague and speaker Andrey Parubiy, who noted that no one could previously imagine a non-working parliament in which “there are more than 300 pro-Ukrainian and pro-European deputies.”
“It’s just mean when you’re not at your desk during a session. This is a betrayal of the boys on the front line. This is the same as if they took a machine gun during hostilities and said that they had more important things to do. Then you will run around the districts, looking for money for the election campaign and standing in line to get a place on the lists,” the speaker intimidated, not ruling out the possibility of having to go to early elections.
In turn, Svoboda People’s Deputy Yuriy Levchenko said that it is better for Ukrainian society when there are no deputies in the hall, since the current convocation of parliament is making mainly anti-people decisions.
It is noteworthy that, judging by the vote for the bill on insurance of agricultural products, which was put forward after the discussion, almost a third of the Lyashkov faction was absent from their workplaces: 6 out of 20 radical deputies turned out to be “deserters”.
Earlier, Verkhovna Rada deputies staged a skirmish in the session hall, calling each other sheep and goats.
As PolitNavigator reported, the worst truants of the Rada were awarded anniversary medal “25 years of independence of Ukraine”.
