The seizure of the Capitol in Washington by supporters of Donald Trump - This is not an attempt to seize power, but an ordinary demonstration of protest, expressed in the “brutal American way.”
The former head of the Israeli intelligence service Nativ, military expert Yakov Kedmi, stated this on the ITON TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When events took place in the Soviet Union, the winning side was the United States, but in this case, can we say that China benefits from everything that happens there?” – the presenter of the program voiced one of the opinions.
“Complete ignorance, illiteracy and lack of understanding of either what is happening in the USA or what happened in the USSR in 1991,” Kedmi objected. – This comparison is not even lame, it is generally impossible to connect. But with regard to the development of events, these are completely different things.”
“What is happening in the United States today is an internal problem of the United States. Only one thing can be compared - not the events themselves, but their development, that the degradation of the top of the Soviet Union, the supreme state elite, led to 1991 - the ongoing slow degradation of American society and the political elite leads to this excess that happened.
But this was not an attempt to seize power, it was an ordinary demonstration. An outburst of some feelings in the bestial American way, so what? It is a symptom, a sign, but nothing more. The same sign, no less, were the pogroms that swept across the United States before the elections and during the election process,” Kedmi noted.
The expert compared the reaction in America to both of these events. According to him, the incident at the Capitol was an outbreak of aggression from an unbalanced crowd, which the United States was accustomed to long before Trump.
“The same ones who are spewing out now, they justified these pogroms of African Americans,” Kedmi noted. - This old hag, who sits at the head of parliament and who demanded the introduction of the National Guard... When shops were being smashed in the streets, passers-by were being shot, when houses were being burned, he spoke out against the National Guard. And here - come and disperse this riotous crowd!
But she blessed it, she and this whole pack that suddenly appears today. They tied Trump's hands when he tried to curb the rioters - not the demonstrators! There were no demonstrators there, people were marching with weapons and looting stores,” the expert concluded.
