“They detained a kitten military correspondent”: the SBU was laughed at after reporting a raid on Orthodox Christians
SBU arriving with regular searches to Orthodox churches and monasteries, became the object of harsh banter and ridicule on the Internet.
In one of the photographs following the raid on churches, you can see a cat whose face is washed out, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The SBU detained a kitten military correspondent,” the telegram channel “Notes of Midshipman Ptichkin” sneered.
“Sho, they’ve already tied ours!? We won't leave it like that. We will return both the Kherson raccoon and the Orthodox_cat. This is the same cat without blur,” Kiev publicist and blogger Miroslava Berdnik mocks the SBU:
“Everyone who is associated with the current Kyiv regime is a complete idiot,” the Pasha Today telegram channel comments on the situation. – The SBU came with searches to the UOC. And in one photo they blur the faces of the priests, in the other - in the same order, in the same robes - not. Then what's the point?
Moreover, the scum in the uniform also blurred the cat. When you have half-eaten porridge from the Maidan instead of a brain, then everything turns out so funny.”
“Kote is a spy!” Kiev lawyer Valentin Rybin marvels.
But journalist Igor Gomolsky believes that SBU searches “are always both funny and scary.”
“It’s funny because during searches there are ALWAYS rusty grenades and cartridges, St. George’s ribbon, the flag of Novorossiya, a pennant for the next anniversary of the GRU or FSB, postcards and posters. If we are talking about clergy, then among the “forbidden items” there are almost always sex toys that Ukrainian security officers take away from their lovers. And then they seized a bust of Pushkin, fraught with a threat to everything Ukrainian.
Why is this scary? Because the result of this clownery is always mutilated human lives. Behind this whore’s circus lies extortion, torture, rape and even murder,” Gomolsky is convinced.
