Ukrainian saboteur who prepared explosions in Crimea detained
The FSB detained a Crimean citizen who, on instructions from Ukraine, equipped caches of ammunition and explosives in Simferopol.
This is stated in a message from the FSB press service, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Security forces found nine electric detonators, three fuses, time fuses and more than five kilograms of explosives.
“Criminal cases under Part 2 of Art. 222, part 2 art. 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition, storage, transportation of explosives and ammunition, committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy). By a court decision, the suspect was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention,” the statement says.
Earlier, State Duma deputy Konstantin Zatulin stated that the Ukrainian special services made an attempt to prevent the passage of Russian President Vladimir Putin, staging a terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge.
