The detained general director of Winter Cherry accused Caucasian teenagers of arson
A group of teenagers set fire to the Winter Cherry shopping center in Kemerovo out of revenge.
This version of the reasons for what happened today in the Zavodsky District Court of Kemerovo was expressed by the general director of Winter Cherry, Nadezhda Suddenok.
“There is a version. I'm sure that's what happened. The employee of the children's attraction, whom I interviewed, said that he heard a bang, and turned around and saw a column of fire. A pile of foam rubber caught fire. It was arson,” assures Suddenok.
According to her, over the past month, a group of teenagers who behaved “inappropriately” often entered the play area. Also, according to her, there were cases when they took money from younger schoolchildren to play slot machines.
“We sent them away ourselves, and called the police. They were of different nationalities and different ages. There were also minors, and one had a beard like a Chechen one. We even examined their behavior at a meeting, and one of them of gypsy appearance came there. Then threatening messages appeared in the toilets,” Suddenok said.
She claims that she instructed all employees how to behave in the event of a fire. She denies the security system was turned off. The last check of this system, according to her, was carried out on February 14.
“I am a mother myself and I understand how people feel when they bury their children. But I don't want to blame myself for this. I honestly fulfilled my duties,” Suddenok said.
The court decided to detain her for 72 hours while prosecutors justify the preventive measure.
