TV presenter and journalist Lilya Budzhurova reported this on her Facebook page.
“We really hoped that our colleague, ATR operator Eskender Nebiev, who was detained yesterday, would be released today. But that did not happen. Most likely, a trial will be scheduled for tomorrow, where a measure of restraint will be determined for him. Eskender is charged with participation in mass riots, namely the rally on February 26, 2014. A lawyer was allowed to see him,” she wrote.
For now, Eskender Nebiev is in the temporary detention center in Simferopol.
Let us recall that during the riots on February 26, 2014, after supporters of the Majlis and Ukrainian nationalists used military gas during a stampede near the Armed Forces of Crimea, Simferopol residents Igor Postny and Valentina Koreneva were killed.
