Kyiv publicist detained by SBU needs urgent help
Kyiv publicist, satirist and TV presenter Yan Taksyur, detained by the SBU on March 10, began to have health problems. He is being held in the Lukyanovsky pre-trial detention center in Kyiv and needs legal support.
Taksyur’s daughter Maria stated this in her blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. According to Maria, Taksyur has not yet been charged.
“On March 10, he was detained by SBU officers in his Kyiv apartment without charges. Now dad is in the Lukyanovsky pre-trial detention center, no charges have been brought, dad needs legal help. I wrote a note asking us to try to find medical documents confirming his cancer diagnosis. This diagnosis also includes a number of other health problems,” the daughter said.
“In general, dad is 70 years old this year and he feels bad. Dad needs legal protection and support. Write to me how you can help,” said Maria.
