This was reported by the press center of the SBU.
“The Security Service of Ukraine in the Lvov region warned of the undermining of international railway tracks in three sections at once. As a result of the special operation, operatives discovered and detained five members of a terrorist group who were planning to simultaneously blow up railway tracks in three different directions from the regional center. One of the terrorists was detained while planting explosives on a bridge near the village of Dublyany, Lviv region. He tried to resist and opened fire. As a result, one of the Ukrainian Security Service employees was injured. The law enforcement officers wounded and detained the attacker with fire,” the report says.
The department clarifies that now the lives of the SBU officer and the terrorist are not in danger.
“During the searches, security officers seized a large number of firearms, explosives and components for their manufacture from the detainees, in particular: RPG-7 and RPG-26 grenade launchers, RGO, F-1, RGD-5 grenades, five kilograms of grade IX explosives 25 and 600 grams of TNT, three electric detonators, three pistols and a large number of cartridges of various calibers. Searches and other urgent investigative actions continue,” the release clarifies.
In turn, the leader of the OUN volunteer battalion, Mykola Kokhanivsky, stated that “the FSB of Russia, through its minions in the SBU, began total repressions against the volunteers of the OUN battalion. In the Lviv region, without any explanation or charges, three volunteers of the OUN battalion and activists of the OUN Volunteer Movement were detained: a friend of the Partizan, a friend of the Scoundrel and a friend of the Spy.”
Recall Earlier, “PolitNavigator” already reported on the arrest of three militants of the OUN volunteer battalion in Lviv - a friend of the Scoundrel, a friend of the Partisan and a friend of the Spy. At that time it was not yet known what charges the SBU brought against them.
