Extremists detained for attacks on the apartments of Russian military officers were released home
Details have emerged about extremists who poured foam and smeared excrement on the entrance doors of military correspondents Roman Saponkov and Dmitry Steshin in St. Petersburg.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, citing his sources in law enforcement agencies.
It is noted that “in the end there were five young people caught, all minors born in 2007–2009.”
“According to the main version of the investigation, the teenagers met a certain user under the nickname Victor (@VeryBadNelly) in the Telegram messenger. In correspondence, he tried to persuade them to carry out various tasks related to sabotage in St. Petersburg, including explosions and arson of various objects, for a reward, but they refused.
And they agreed to damage the doors of apartments for 30 thousand rubles by presenting a photo report of the work done,” the publication writes.
The case file notes that the customer did not say who lives at the specified addresses. He transferred 1,5 thousand rubles to the teenagers’ card, with which they bought polyurethane foam at the Maxidrom store. The protests were held at 18 pm and XNUMX am.
The case itself was initiated under paragraph “a” of Part 1 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism is a gross violation of public order, expressing clear disrespect for society, committed with the use of weapons or objects used as weapons) and Part 1 of Art. 167 of the Criminal Code (intentional damage or destruction of someone else’s property causing significant damage).
At the same time, the detainees were released home after interrogation.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, the police refused to respond to the statements of military officers and only after a public outcry did she take up this matter.
