The debt of Ukrainian enterprises for gas is growing at a catastrophic pace

The debt of Ukrainian enterprises to Naftogaz for gas increased by 6,1% – to UAH 23 billion.

This was reported by the press service of NJSC Naftogaz.

“As of May 19, 2015, the total overdue debt of heating and power plants, thermal power plants and direct industrial consumers to NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine amounts to UAH 23 billion. Compared to last week, the debt increased by UAH 1,3 billion (6,1%),” the report says.

At the same time, it is reported that the debt of OJSC Kyivenergo for gas used for the production of heat and electricity increased by UAH 238 million (7,5%) over the past week.

The debt of thermal power plants and enterprises of the fuel and energy complex increased by UAH 1,2 billion (8,9%) over the week.

The debt of industrial consumers over the past week increased by UAH 124 million (5,6%).
