Primary registrations of used passenger cars in Ukraine in January-September 2017 amounted to 38,6 thousand, which is 5,7 times more than the same period last year.

This is evidenced by statistics from the specialized association Ukravtoprom, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the association, during this period the market for new passenger cars grew by 31%, to 57,8 thousand units.
Let us remind you that since August 2016, a law has been in force in Ukraine allowing individuals to import one used car per year at significantly reduced excise tax rates.
It was previously reported that in September 2017, compared to September 2016, sales of imported used cars in Ukraine almost doubled - to 2 thousand cars.
It also became known that Canadian used cars will be imported to Ukraine with zero duty.
It is interesting that despite all this, the Ukrainian authorities continue to make statements about the revival of the domestic automobile industry.
